A father-son duo from Maharashtra, India, has been arrested for stealing electrical energy, NDTV reported.
The pair allegedly stole electrical energy price INR59.3 million (virtually Rs149 million). The suspects have been recognized as Chandrakant Bhambre, the daddy and his son, Sachin.
“Energy was being stolen remotely with the usage of a gadget that was tampering the meter readings. The entire energy theft within the final 29 months has been estimated at 34,09,901 models price INR 59.3 million,” an official stated.
